If you’re a member of Coastal Electric and you need a new water heater, look no further than your own Electric Cooperative.
Qualified members of Coastal Electric can receive financing for a new, efficient electric water heater. Payments are spread equally over 12 months and are added to your Coastal Electric bill. Coastal Electric members may also be eligible for free maintenance on their new water heater.
Co-op members who allow us to install a load control device on their new water heater will qualify for free maintenance.
Coastal Electric will maintain your water heater by replacing elements, thermostats, and pressure relief valves whenever they are needed at no charge for as long as the control device remains connected to your water heater. That way you will be ensured that you will have plenty of reliable hot water when you need it.
You may still qualify for free maintenance on your water heater.
Coastal Electric members who agree to allow the Cooperative to install a load management device on a qualifying, minimum 50 gallon electric water heater, will free maintenance on their water heater.

Existing water heaters will require an inspection made by one of our member services reps to verify that the water heater meets the qualifications for the program. Water heaters that do not meet program qualifications may be eligible for on-bill financing for a new water heater upgrade.
