Help My House Energy Efficiency Program
MEMBERS of Coastal Electric Cooperative who own manufactured homes are eligible to apply for two
new "Help My House" energy efficiency programs. One will offer selected applicants two appliance replacements
at no charge. The other program will provide an HVAC system replacement or major tune-up, also free of charge.
To be eligible, entries for each program must be received by midnight April 30. Selected participants will
be notified by Friday, May 28.
Appliance replacements
Members who own manufactured homes selected for the Energy Star Appliance Upgrade program will
receive two Energy Star-qualified appliance replacements. Appliances eligible for an upgrade include
water heaters, refrigerators, clothes washers, dish washers and freezers.

HVAC replacement/tune-up
The HVAC Replacement/Major Tune-Up program is open to members who own a single- or double-wide manufactured
home built between 1990 and 2008. Selected participants will receive a major heating/air tune-up or a system
replacement.

These programs are part of a study to validate the effectiveness of energy efficiency technologies for people
who live in manufactured homes. It is made possible by a grant from the state Energy Office and Central Electric
Power Cooperative, Coastal Electric Cooperatives wholesale power provider. Please be advised that not everyone
who applies will be selected for this pilot program.
